In this lecture, Maestro Hamilton talks about the fundamentals of two of our main centers: the heart and the mind. He elucidates the difficulties that we have inherited into the mind with linguistics that don’t add up. He then continues to explain how we must integrate these two separate points Heart and Brain/Mind into a single field of intelligent awareness, and how Sanctuary can help us do this.
Sanctuary: The Unification of the Heart and Mind
We’re working with Sanctuary, and we’re working directly always with Source. I want us to start to orient and understand that Source is with us all the time. That Source is bigger than the epicenter of our body and our consciousness, but Source is also part of that, so it’s not separate.
It’s not two different containers or boxes. It’s a field that’s through, and so here’s the body, and here’s the rest of Source. But it’s not body ends, Source begins, it’s where the body is a Source, and where the body isn’t is Source, and so it is through.
I want us to start understanding that Source is all the time. Source has always been all the time. Source will always be with us all the time, and it’s actually an impossibility to divide or separate ourselves from Source.
You can’t do it. It’s an impossibility, and we don’t even want to try. It’s not going to happen, but you’re welcome to try as many times as you want.
All you’re going to do is see that the union of Source gives you the power and capacity to make up a narrative, a story, or a kind of linguistic code that represents separation, but doesn’t actually create separation. I want us to work with that to start to move through the illusion and the delusion of the narratives that we express around our relationship with Source. When we ally with Source, we’re allying with the whole universe.
If I’m going to be this cellular creature here of this earth, I think it’s probably a good idea to ally with the whole universe. It just seems like that would make sense. You have the whole universe.
We know it in science, we know it in religion, we know it in spirituality, philosophy. It’s there, we should ally with it, and that’s the point of Sanctuary.
You’re already saying, Source, Universe, let’s make this Sanctuary if I’m going to be alive within the vastness and the scale of this incredible existence. Let’s have this be something that’s very positive.
Source, in, through and all around, first tenant of Sanctuary, gives us a location for our own awareness and understanding. The importance of that is we often create the two boxes with me, my body, self, and I separate from Source, Universe, God, Divinity, Spirit. We want me, myself, body, I to be in union with God, Source, Divinity, Spirit, Universe.
Principle two of Sanctuary, God as the infinite time and the eternal space, makes this vast universe that we live as part of, we don’t even live in it. That’s an orientation. That we live part of, that we are made of, this vast universe. It makes it a consistent phenomenon, not an expanding, contracting phenomenon that’s someday going to swallow us up and squeeze us out of existence, even at the level of soul.
It’s going to be continuous. It’s going to continuously change shape. It’s going to continuously evolve, and we are continuously part of it, and we are eternally part of it. Meaning that for the rest of the existence of the universe, we will exist as well in some form, shape, or way. I doubt it will be the human form.
I hope it won’t be the human form. I don’t mind if it’s the human form once, twice, 10,000, a million, a trillion times. I don’t want to only be the human form.
I don’t think that we’re only the human form right now. As I said, I think the human form is a form of incubation for us, as we’re already part of the infinite eternal. Because of that, when we look at ourselves, we’re these cellular, squishy, liquid, watery creatures, and it’s very delicate.
We act tough, and none of us are. We make up mythological stories about how tough we are, but in reality, we’re not tough materially. No matter who we are, we’re soft, squishy, bony, liquidy, energetically amazing beings.
Because of that, principle three is so important, which is, we want our environment to be safe and protected for our existence and the existence of others. How do we do that? We do that by having the space to be healing, harmonizing, balancing, grounding, and orienting.
I see so many people have this attitude that if they control the environment, it’s somehow going to create the protection they’re looking for.
All we see is that the creativity of humanity and the creativity of Spirit and Source seems to find a way to get somehow in or through or be all around in ways that we think produce fear. You can build a great fortress and you still have to defend it. You can put all the locks on your doors and there’s still a way through it.
You can make an unhackable computer system, and someone figures out how to hack it, or a new technology gets built, etc. ad infinitum. As I went through the shamanic exploration of this, which is all of the philosophical ways you could try to create an unhackable system, I finally realized it is impossible unless we change our relationship to the system itself.
When we change our relationship to the system, we want the system itself to be real-time healing, real-time balancing, real-time grounding, real-time harmonizing, and real-time orienting that we can create. Not that it’s going to be for us, we can create that space of safety and security in our awareness, in our choices, in our decisions, in our actions, in the direction that we take within our lives, the way we navigate it, meaning the way we walk, the way we talk, the way we drive, and what we buy, what we do, what we eat, the way we consume, how we cleanse, how we detox, and how we use hygiene.
All the little things we do every day go into principle three of Sanctuary, how we heal, how we harmonize, how we balance, how we ground, and how we orient. As part of that, we have the nature of us that’s thinking, and we have the nature of us that’s loving, and we have the part of us that’s always thinking, and we have the part of us that is always loving. They’re not always in balance, and they’re not always in harmony, and they’re often not grounded, and rarely are they oriented in a way that is supportive of each other.
That’s what today is about, how we use sanctuary to understand the relationship of Sourcethat we have at brain, where brain is Source, is Love, is Divine, is Universe, and also Heart.
I think of these as a form of divine architecture, a kind of engineering of Gaia and Earth that made us in these really amazing shapes. When I go all the way back to your single cell, you’re in the mom’s womb, or you’re about to be in the womb, and sperm and egg have come together into the zygote form, and there you are.
There’s your body, and your body is only one cell. It’s not the trillions of cells that it is today. There you are in history. This is your true history. In that time, you don’t have a heart. You don’t have a brain. You don’t have arms. You don’t have toes. You don’t have bones. You don’t have skin. You don’t have anything. You are a cell.
Shape is what I mean by cellular division, dividing in such ways through the absorption of the molecules of this incredible universe that come to you. It’s really interesting, because it only comes to you in the sequential order of the molecules that became you. All the other molecules were something else.
Those became you over a sequential form. Quintillions of quintillions of quintillions of molecules constantly coming, forming, until you have a heart. You still don’t have a brain, and your heart is Source, in relationship to Source, being Source, and you don’t have an idea for it yet because you don’t have a brain for it yet.
You haven’t had your first idea in this incarnation. There you are, and you live actually for quite a long time like that, as other aspects of you are in formation, in your embryonic stage, coming into formation, and then pretty soon, you have this little baby, tiny, first little brain. We can explore this in our visionary states.
What were our first thoughts? What was it like when that brain lit up and got its very first electricity? What was your originating neural network? What were, when you were in the womb, your first thoughts, when you finally differentiated from just the field of thoughts that was all around you and through you as vibration and quantum going through you? We want to explore this because this is our first mind.
I can promise you when you got your first mind, your first mind was not sick or disruptive, or problematic, or too loud for you or for others, or too big, or too grandiose, or anything. It was none of those things.
You are a tiny little embryo with this little baby first mind. It’s such a miraculous, sacred moment. When we do these kinds of explorations, we invoke Sanctuary, we go into our plant medicine or into our breathwork, and we ask Gaia, the earth, to take us in time to that moment because there’s a union where that was not just you.
That was you and Gaia, just like right now it’s you and Gaia. It’s always been you and Gaia, just like it’s you and Source. It’s also you and earth where you are made of it.
Wow. Wow. This is a shared field.
This is where Gaia has the memories where we don’t have the memories anymore and I don’t have the memories. They’re gone.
It’s nature and it’s changing, fluctuating biological hardware that we represent that makes it very hard to remember those things. But we can go into states of consciousness and awaken the nature of those memories and be shown by our true earth mother, the true creator of our life that goes all the way back to the very first single self. We can go back in our ancestry to other species, way before there was ever humans, all the way back to the very first minds and the very first lighting up of a neural net, the very first brains that had that capacity.
We could go back and actually experience them and see them. It’s important to the nature of our timeline. That’s part of the exploration of this, not just as you, but also a tool that you use all the time.
What I think is really interesting about the mind and the, I call it brain mind. It’s where thinking is the physicality. What I think is really interesting about that most people alive today that I interact with and talk with about this have afflictions with their own mind.
Their own mind is causing them difficulties, problems, conflicts, and they’re trying to deal with their mind, with their mind. In shamanism, we see that it is impossible to deal with the tool, with the same tool that has the problem in the tool that you’re trying to fix. That’s where we go in our Sanctuary to our allies to change the nature of our tool.
So, I can use my mind to connect with an ally, to ask the ally to help my mind, but I can’t use my mind to help my mind when my mind is the source of the affliction I’m trying to help.
I can go from my mind to my heart. I can go from my mind to my ally. I can go from my mind to another space or place. I can start to change the context, the understanding, and the use of the tool because that aspect of my mind is capable of that, while I’m still addressing the nature of the affliction with my mind. And so, I can see that my mind is not just an isolated box, even though I often like to treat it that way. It’s not just my isolated box of my own creation, and I’m not encapsulated in it in the only way to know myself.
It is a tool, and we want that tool to be an amazing tool for us. We need to learn to work with the mind. We’re more than the mind. It’s not, I am my mind. It’s my mind is an aspect of me. My mind is a part of me.
It is a tool, and we use it to think. We’ve been taught to think in lots of different ways. We’ve been taught to think in a binary, dualistic form of linguistics based in us and them, black and white, do’s and don’ts, yes and noes, and we’ve created an algorithmic language.
Over the last 30, 40 years, through the use of these algorithmic tools, where we took our own understandings and codified science into them. As we did that, we started to program our own brain and our own forms of understanding, our own linguistics into that kind of code.
And you hear people speak in the nature of that code. Then you start to hear people say, well, if da-da-da-da-da-da-da, then da-da-da-da-da-da-da, if da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, then da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, if da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, then and da-da-da-da-da-da-da, and da-da-da-da-da-da-da. And that’s Boolean algebra.
You have to be really careful with that kind of logic and reasoning, because if da-da-da-da-da-da-da has any flaw in its logic or code, then the “then” is just complete nonsense, it forms delusion, and it forms illusion. And that’s what we’re talking about linguistics.
We use English language, spoken language, thought-based language, imaginary language, visionary language, and mathematical languages all the time. And it’s part of why our mental tool has become errored and has become difficult for us to deal with it, because our individual philosophies do not line up and do not add up. We have conflict and errors in the nature of our code and it forms us difficulty in our very own mind.
Now, the heart doesn’t know how to use any of those languages, doesn’t think like that at all. It has the power when it fully opens up and it’s not in balance with the brain to annihilate those languages. And they go away, and we can’t use them at all.
When you see people that are fully, fully heart-opened, but they’re not balanced with their brain, they lose logic, they lose reason, they lose discernment. Often afterwards, they feel like a whole house of cards comes tumbling down when the fully heart-open space doesn’t hold day in, day out, day in, day out, day in, day out. And the rest of life comes and delivers all sorts of traumas that make them once again contract in their heart.
So, what we want to work with Sanctuary is to bring heart into balance with the brain-mindand brain-mind into balance with the heart.
It’s a balancing. It’s principle three of Sanctuary in two epicentral places of consciousness. And what’s going to happen when the brain is fully expanded, the brain-mind is fully expanded, and the heart is fully expanded, the heart field is going to be bigger than the brain-mind field.
It’s going to actually encapsulate it. It’s going to be bigger than it and this is going to function very much like the nucleus of an atom.
The epicenter of the brain-mind and the epicenter of the heart are going to be in harmony with each other, bonded with each other, and they’re going to create a uniform field that is also Gaia and is also Source. The brain is going to calm down and as it does, the nature of those languages that we work with are going to become easier and easier for us to use.
We’re going to find ourselves to be more resilient in the face of stress, more resilient in the difficulties that we would normally have in our normal everyday life.
We’re going to gain courage. We’re going to gain strength. We’re going to gain a kind of balance and harmony that otherwise we might find difficult to create. In that, it’s going to give us a deeper recognition in Sanctuary of how we work with Sanctuary, how we understand Sanctuary, and how we understand the nature of the principles. As we start to work with the four tenets—Source, Spirit, Divinity, Universe, in, through and all around—which makes it 3D, that’s the 3D of us.
Infinite, Time, Eternal Space, which is the 4D of us. The self-harmonizing, grounding, balancing, orienting, and healing, which is how we want the energy to flow through this field and through this system. As we’re safe and protected, we’re going to notice that that gives us an opportunity to start to rewire or create a new neural network for our brain-mind. That starts to change and nullify all of the logic and reasonings we had pre-Sanctuary for why things are the way they are, or why life seems to be the way it is, or the way we use the notion of the is.
Like, oh, this is da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, and that is da-da-da-da-da-da-da. As you bring Sanctuary into that, the this is da-da-da-da-da-da philosophies all change. Once we have Sanctuary, life is dangerous. No, it’s not. Life’s protected and safe. Working with plant medicines is dangerous. No, it’s not. Not if we use Sanctuary.
Exploring consciousness takes a really long time. It can be accelerated utilizing Sanctuary. I need to constantly protect myself in all these different ways. No, I don’t. Sanctuary is protecting all of us, all the time, for the people that are using it. With that, the nature of how we relate to ourselves, think about ourselves, the nature of how we relate to others, think about others, the nature of how we relate to our lives, think about our lives, can start to change.
When the heart opens up fully, we gain not only access to our own love, but also transcendingthe mentalization of that love. That field becomes very real, that the nature of that love extends well beyond the epicentral personification or identification with that love.
It ceases to just be my love, your love, his love, her love, and it becomes the love. You hear spiritual teachers talk about the love and others are like, what are you talking about? I don’t know about the love.
Oh, no, they’re like, oh, the love, the love’s everywhere. Then there are these Christian teachings with Christ all about the love and the love being everywhere and then God being the love and it doesn’t seem that way. We start to experience what of the field is the love.
It made me start to think that the heart wasn’t really the epicenter of the love. The heart was the way that I was able to tap into it. It was the place where the love part of me, the love vibration, frequencies, energies, consciousness, and this organ, the cellular, divided, beautiful, differentiated part of me and you, the same, is tapped into that part of the field.
So, we can transcend the definition of separation in the heart and recognize that the heart is the receiver and the giver, and the transmitter and the receiver connected in that field all the time. No matter where I go, as I’m cruising through creating Sanctuary in my life, no matter what’s going on, whether it’s an airplane or whether it’s an airport or whether it’s here right now or in the car or in the office or anytime, anyplace, in the shower, it wouldn’t matter. I’m suspended, suspended like floating in water in the field of love.
I want to start to train my brain mind through the experience itself and so I don’t want to believe that. I don’t want to form a belief in my mind and try to convince myself that that’s true. I want to go test my ancestors and my great teachers that told me that that’s how it is and I want to go find out if that’s how it is for me too.
That’s where our plant medicine exploration comes in. That’s where the sit comes in. That’s where our setting of intention comes in and our direct communication with Source. So, we have our plant medicine, and we say to our plant medicine as we invoke Sanctuary that we are here and we’re setting our intention.
We’re doing this to meet the field of love at heart. That’s a locus. It’s a location. At heart, I want to meet the field of love. When I’ve met the field of love at heart, I want to meet the field of love at brain mind. Receiving the heart. It’s receiving and receiving. Not just thinking. It’s receiving and receiving at the same time.
So, I invoke Sanctuary and I tell Source and I tell the plants and I tell Spirit, I tell my allies that that’s the journey. We start to go on the exploration of Source, heart, love, us, brain, mind, understanding, linguistics. Us as part of and through this field that is represented in Gaia and is represented in the Universe that’s represented in Source. And in my mind, the way I framed this is that when I talk about Source, I’m always talking about Gaia and the Universe.
When I talk about Gaia, where Gaia is, is also where Source and the Universe is. When I’m talking about the Universe, I’m also talking about Source and Gaia. While I’m talking about anything, I’m always here of the human, of the earth, of this incredible planet, which is part of a solar system, part of a galaxy, part of many, many galaxies in a great field and cluster of them, which is part of the universe.
Our exploration for this week is a continued deepening of our awareness and understanding of working with Sanctuary, which we work with all the time. Then bringing into it the infinite exploration of our heart consciousness and the union with the field, with our brain-mind consciousness, with our union of the field, and the balance and unification of our heart consciousness with our brain-mind consciousness, so that it is just consciousness. When we do, we will feel it, and we will think it, and we will know it, and we will share it.
That is my teaching for today. We have a few more minutes, and I would like to open this up to Q&A for anyone who would like to share or ask any questions.
Participant: Maestro, I don’t know how to put my hand up, but it’s important that I tell a story.May I? Because this whole path that you told us, go have a talk with God.
I was taken back like a week later to when I was eight. I was like third grade. And back then, I’m a boomer.
I’m 64. Whenever, you know, all the girls for Christmas were supposed to want a Skipper doll, but I, you know, Barbie’s little sister or whatever. And I, instead, somebody got me two Tracy dolls.
They were like, they were pudgier than, they were pre-adolescent dolls that were dressed in Scottish. I have to give you this picture. They had these little, you know, I’m sitting in my room.
We had moved to this house, you know, life up to third grade had been, the dysfunction was pretty extreme. And I’m playing with these dolls and I’m thinking, there’s got to be more to reality than this. And it was an earnest inquiry, right? So I go like the house, you know, the physical structure, right.
The rooms, you know, the structure of the family and those dynamics. And then I keep going and I’m thinking, okay, well, there’s a solar system. And, you know, cause I’m in third grade, I know about the solar system and there’s nothing, you know, it’s all physical reality.
And then all of a sudden, and then for some reason, I started like going backwards, right? Like I’m going to the beginning, and I started like my head down focusing really hard. And I was, I can almost remember it now. It’s like a gray vision field.
And then there was like this mist of a white spiral appeared, but I was just going deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper to see if there was something else. This, you know, the Tracy doll game or whatever. And I met something, right.
It recognized me, right. And it’s a child’s perception of Source or God truly, you know, I was surprised that there was consciousness at the end of this thing. Right.
And, and then I backed out just relieved and that there was something else other than, you know, and instead of trying to put a name on that, what was that? You know, I’m third grade. I don’t put a name on it. I just am relieved by the knowing that, you know, there is something else and it’s conscious and it can recognize me, and I can recognize it.
What about that doc?
Hamilton: Well, I think first of all, yeah, I mean, there’s no limit to our consciousness of when we tap into it, whether we’re younger or older. I think these other things that we’re talking about are an absolute recognition of us. As an example of that, I used to walk through the forest and then we’d go drink Aya.
And then when we’d be drinking Aya, the trees would come to us and be like, Oh, look at all the little humans who never pay attention to us. We’re watching you the whole time. Like we see you.
So, I think we’re conscious. We realize there is something on the other side of it and that something is what people call Spirit and also other kinds of beings. We want to investigate them, explore them and know them, and understand what their purpose is and what they’re doing in this universe. It’s just like two beings meeting each other.
Participant: The question that I had after thinking about that is that I didn’t go like within.
That direction that I was heading when I was going deeper, deeper, deeper, I wasn’t going within. I was going back in time to the very beginning. You know what I’m saying? That was a conscious thing.
I was tracking, right? I tracked out from myself and then I went and saw, well, it’s all physical reality. And then I went very all the way back to the beginning. And I wanted to ask you that, you know, cause you say go within, you know, and I’m thinking, well, when you did that, when you were a kid, the direction you were traveling really wasn’t within.
Is that, is that a moot thing?
Hamilton: I think it’s how you relate to it. So. Okay. First of all, you can go out forever. You can go in forever. Once you recognize in as a gateway to everywhere, you can go everywhere from going within.
Participant: I think I must have a thing with going within. I think that that’s just, uh, you know, because my orientation is, is so outward.
Hamilton: I’ll walk you through it. Okay.
I go into my cells and then I go into my molecules and then I go into my atoms and then I go into my subatomic particles and then I go into the quantum. As I go into the quantum, I see that the quantum goes everywhere.
It doesn’t mean like inside the cup, it’s not inside a container. Going in is bridging the inside of you, the field that you represent to everything.
I can go from in out. It goes through the body, from my core all the way out to forever. I can go in through and use it as a gateway. So, it goes like into the quantum of the spinal column and ends up out in the rest of the universe. It can tunnel and spiral and through those energetic shapes end up somewhere. I think that’s how you’re framing it. That’s what you’re doing.
Participant: I think it has something to do with being a Capricorn. Like we’re just really rigid and like maybe box things or something, in certain ways, classification, who knows, but, um, I do appreciate you explaining that.
Hamilton: Very welcome. My pleasure. What’s up, Jasmine?
Jasmine: Hi, Maestro. Hi, everybody. I’m so happy to be here and so grateful. I just wanted to start by saying that I’m really, really grateful for all these teachings.
And, um, ever since, since we’ve been in Peru and back, everything has been just there unveiling of so many beautiful things and just exploring the beauty of like the mystery and the miracle that we are and how it, how it works with everything else. So, with my clients, with my job, with my children, my family and everything. So, the question I have isconnected to nightmares.
So, I remember myself ever since I was young, it doesn’t happen a lot, but once every, let’s say, I don’t know, a few months, half a year, I get one nightmare. That is like, usually me trying to like scream for help, but nothing comes out. And it’s just like, you know, a nightmare I wake up and it’s like really shaking and stuff.
I’ve been working with Sanctuary, everything ever since we’ve been to Peru and it’s been incredible, but I did get a nightmare twice since we came back from Peru, nothing at all for the whole three months. And the last time I was able to actually scream, the first time sound came out and like, I was able to wake myself out of the nightmare. But what I wanted to ask is like, how exactly do we work through nightmares in Sanctuary? And what is your opinion about nightmares in general?
Hamilton: My opinion about nightmares in general is that that’s something that we’re processing through our consciousness, through our brain mind, and that it’s reflective and symbolic of different things that we address and deal with in our own lives.
So, I see it as a symbolic form. When we can’t fulfill what we need in the dream in a state of fear or panic, it’s showing us a kind of limitation that we have within ourselves. We can look at the symbolism, like, is it a limitation to express ourselves? Is it a limitation to be able to defend ourselves? Is it someplace where we have been taught to hold back when we need to be able to be expressive, et cetera.
There’re different ways that that one manifests. That’s a pretty common kind of dream in that sense.
So, some people find they have weapons and can’t use them. Some people find that their car doesn’t start when they need to flee. There are other ways to express this. My general concept of working with this in Sanctuary is that you go into Sanctuary, and you bring to your consciousness, you bring to your spirit, and you bring to your mind the principle three, and then principle four, which is that first of all, you’re safe.
And little by little in the healing, grounding, harmonizing, balancing, and orienting process, you’ll address and establish new patterns that don’t require the fulfillment of that dream. Then in other ways, you can work with the dream, before you go to sleep, you can give yourself a pre-sleep suggestion that if you have that dream, you’ll be able to act, you’ll be able to defend yourself, you’ll be able to confront the scenario in your dream.
You give yourself that power before going in. You can also give yourself the suggestion that you will wake up in a lucid dream and be able to address it with all of the faculties that you would have in your mind in your waking state. Not only will you be empowered in the dream to do it, but you can also wake up in the dream into a lucid dream and address it directly.
Jasmine: Thank you, Maestro.
Hamilton: You’re welcome. Hi, Chris.
I can’t hear you. Can anyone else hear Chris? You want to write the question maybe, and I’ll just answer it that way. In the meantime, I’ll answer some of these from the chat really quickly.
So, what’s my estimation when the soul enters the body? I’d like to reframe that, that the soul doesn’t enter the body, that the body is an interwebbing that grows the soul into this dimensionality and form. It’s not like a thing that enters the body and leaves but is actually interwoven through and is created out of. I think the soul exists before the body, the body’s growing quantumly, subatomically, atomically, and the soul gets woven through it.
That this body that you have now has been pre-planned and part of the evolution of the universe over the last 12 to 13 billion years. It required the formation of the galaxy, and then the formation of earth and the solar system, and then the formation of life, and then the continuous evolution to get to you, which is how I define you as a miracle. That all of that continuous development led to this moment and led to you, and that the soul is woven through you.
There’s a question, was I implying that we’ve lost the information packets that can be underlined in the language, the extra sensory information that we can carry when done intentionally? The nature of our linguistic patterns has been to actually diffuse and reduce the amount of information that we are and the information that’s around us. So much so it makes an image of the rest of the world around us, which is actually in your brain. Every image you see around you is not actually what’s around you, that’s in your brain.
What’s really around you are trillions upon trillions upon trillions upon trillions upon trillions of every nanosecond more and we have lost in our language the ability to hold that information. Part of what we’re doing is expanding the nature of our ability to hold more and more information.
I think when we have psychedelic or plant medicine experiences, we see the tiniest fraction of that more and there’s more and more and more and more and more, and we open up to more and more.
How do you protect your neurotransmitters and serotonin when working with plants? That’s a great question. And the answer is simply how much, how often, and the way that you work with them. So ayahuasca helps balance the serotonin, makes you more receptive to your own serotonin. It’s actually a regenerating medicine for the brain.
We find with psilocybin that there needs to be a gap after one or two sessions with it, there needs to be a gap of time, and the body naturally regenerates.
We see with excessive cannabis use, which I’m a proponent for ceremonial cannabis use in large doses in short periods of time, and then long breaks. You see a rebalancing of the brain associated with that. Same thing with San Pedro.
You’ll have a strong first ceremony, the second ceremony will be milder, and you need to have a break. Then with all of these, I think that the way I like to work with them that was most effective, is multiple uses in a short period of time that’s dedicated to that, and then a break. Two, three, four, five ceremonies in a week, and then two, three-week break, four-week break.
Unless you’re really training all the time in this and you build up body and not tolerance to the plants, but tolerance to being in the altered states so you don’t need as much integration to move into the next ones. Then we would train four, five, six, seven, eight ayahuasca ceremonies, two, three, four-day break, four, five, six ayahuasca ceremonies, two, three, four-day break over the course of two to three months, and then we would take a month to six-week break.
The general consensus idea is focus ceremonies, break, focus ceremonies, break, and then your diet during this time is really important, your hydration is really important. You reduce all the kinds of foods that could be difficult or negative to the processing of the alkaloids and that are also then helpful for the brain to be able to recuperate.
There’s a huge difference with pharmaceutical psychedelics like ketamine and MDMA and stuff like that. What I’ve heard from medical practitioners is that they recommend having a kind of supplement pack that somebody uses afterwards that helps re-establish the brain chemistry like after a big MDMA experience. There are different, I don’t know all of them, there’s a different series of amino acids and supplements that you can take post those experiences to help re-establish brain balance and brain chemistry. I can look into that, and we can share that in the Mystery School.
I’ve not heard of psilocybin depleting magnesium, but I would use magnesium and potassium supplements after any of these kinds of experiences. That’s why we eat bananas. The plantains down here, that’s where we get that source of potassium. We use a lot of that just as a main part of the mainstay of the diet down here.
All right, everybody, we have our understandings for this week. Thank you very much for joining me.
I look forward to what we’ll share, and we’ll get the small groups going this week. Just in the next couple of days. Much support, compassion, and love to everybody.
Have a beautiful rest of your weekend. Bye. Thank you so much.
